Program Goals
Project ENGAGES is a high school science education program developed by Georgia Tech in partnership with seven minority-serving public high schools in the City of Atlanta.
The partner schools are the Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy, an all-girls high school; B.E.S.T. Academy, an all-boys high school; Benjamin E. Mays High School, Charles R. Drew Charter School, South Atlanta High School, Booker T. Washington High School, D.M. Therrell High School, and KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, co-ed high schools. The student population of all partnering schools is predominantly African-American with a high percentage of students receiving either a free or subsidized lunch.
